Hello and happy Tuesday gang! Hope you’re all doing well today! It’s been a hot hot minute since I’ve shared a “3 ways to wear” post with you but you guys seem to enjoy them so I’m back at it. I want to try to make them a slightly more regular thing if possible and I also want to try to to a better job with them, honestly. So I’m hoping I’m making a comeback today for ya, haha. I asked a while ago if you would rather see trendy pieces or staple pieces styled in multiple ways and the majority of you said you’d rather see different ways to wear staple items. So today I’m going to show you 3 ways to wear a khaki blazer with jeans! Ya ready? Let’s go! 🙂
Khaki Blazer with Jeans: Look 1 – Classic
BUTTON DOWN | JEANS (recommend sizing up twice) | KHAKI BLAZER, no longer available but also love this one ($128), this one ($21), this one ($178), and this one ($34.99) | SHOES, similar here | BAG, similar here, here and here | NECKLACE | EARRINGS | WATCH
For this first look, I decided to style the khaki blazer in a classic and dressy way. This is a great look for the office or for a meeting. I paired it with a classic white button down and a pair of dressy, dark wash skinny jeans. If you can’t wear jeans to the office, just swap them out for black or navy dress pants! To keep things classic and simple, I wore a pair of nude mule pumps and carried a nice beige tote bag. I did think the look deserved some sort of bling though, so I wore a fun necklace that wasn’t too loud, some simple hoops, and a nice watch.
Khaki Blazer with Jeans: Look 2 – Trendy
T-SHIRT, similar here and here | JEANS, also available here | KHAKI BLAZER, no longer available but also love this one ($128), this one ($21), this one ($178), and this one ($34.99) |BOOTIES | BAG | EARRINGS | WATCH | SUNGLASSES (different color), different colors also available here, similar here | LIPSTICK (color: Shanghai Express)
This is personally my favorite of the 3 looks because it’s a combination of classic and trendy and perfectly between dressy and casual. For this look, I went a little more trendy by pairing the blazer with a Levi’s graphic tee and a pair of high waisted straight leg jeans (because the 90’s are back y’all). To dress things up just a tad, I wore a pair of heeled booties and carried a matching bag. I wanted things to have some flare so I added a pair of sassy sunglasses and a bold red lip to top it all off!
Khaki Blazer with Jeans: Look 3 – Casual
I decided to take it down a notch and keep the khaki blazer casual for this last look. This look would be fun for bopping around town (comfy but stylish) or traveling (it’s always smart to wear blazers and coats when traveling because you don’t have to take up room or weight in your suitcase nor do you have to worry about it getting badly wrinkled). I wanted this one to be nice and effortless with pieces that most everyone are likely to own so I wore the blazer over a classic grey t-shirt with a pair of medium wash skinny jeans. I went for a pair with light distressing because I looove me some distressed denim, but any skinny jeans will do here! I paired it with a pair of ivory sneakers for comfort and carried my little cross body bag that I love for days where I’m on my feet a lot (it doesn’t get heavy). And for a little added fun I tossed in a pair of neutral statement earrings!
So there ya have it friends! 3 ways to wear a khaki blazer with jeans. Which look do you like the best? What’s another fun way you would style a khaki blazer? Let me know in the comments if you have any requests for a “3 ways to wear” post! I’d love to hear what you guys would want to see here. 🙂 Hope you enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, thanks for reading, and hope ya liked it!
