Hello hello and happy Thursday everyone! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week so far. I’ve just been plugging away over here trying to play catch up from taking a week off for Thanksgiving. It was a much needed break with some great family time, though, so it’s totally worth it. 🙂 I’ll go ahead and dive right into today’s post since I’m sharing another 3 Ways to Wear post with you today.
It’s officially leather weather now and a great leather moto jacket should be a fall and winter staple for you if it’s not already. They’re effortlessly stylish, nice and warm, and great for so many different occasions. So I thought I would style my trusty leather moto jacket and show you 3 ways to wear it! I’ll also share some of my favorite leather moto jacket picks, all at varying price points. 🙂
Leather Moto Jacket: Look 1 – Dressy
LEATHER MOTO JACKET, almost identical here (currently on sale for $52), similar here, here and here (under $50) | SWEATER, almost identical here | PANTS, similar here and here (under $25) | BOOTIES, similar here and here (under $60) | BAG (only $22!) | EARRINGS (c/o BaubleBar)
This first leather moto jacket outfit is a dressier look. Sometimes it can be fun to take a classy and simple outfit like a grey turtleneck sweater and white wide leg dress pants and make it a bit edgier with a leather jacket. I loved the contrast of the light tones underneath a black jacket so I added to the contrast by carrying a quilted black bag and wearing dressy black booties. And I gave the look some winter bling by adding a pair of statement silver earrings to top everything off.
Leather Moto Jacket: Look 2 – Casual
LEATHER MOTO JACKET, almost identical here (currently on sale for $52), similar here, here and here (under $50) | T-SHIRT, similar here | JEANS, similar here | BOOTIES (less than $100)| BAG (c/o Patricia Nash Designs) | SCARF, similar here and here | EARMUFFS, similar here | GLOVES, similar here, similar for less here
This second look is a simple casual one. You can never go wrong with a black and white striped tee and jeans so I threw my leather moto jacket over top, wore my favorite black booties, carried my every day black bag and called it a day. It was obviously a chilly day 😉 so I accessorized a bit differently than normal and wore black leather gloves, a grey scarf, and a pair of grey earmuffs to stay cozy.
Leather Moto Jacket: Look 3 – Classic Black
LEATHER MOTO JACKET, almost identical here (currently on sale for $52), similar here, here and here (under $50) | SWEATER, similar here | JEANS | BOOTIES (less than $100)| BAG (c/o Patricia Nash Designs) | GLOVES, similar here, similar for less here | SCARF, almost identical here | EARRINGS
All black is always an effortless look, especially with a leather moto jacket. It’s easy, sleek, and insanely stylish. I feel like this outfit doesn’t need much description… I just wore all black. 😉 A cozy black turtleneck with a great pair of black skinny jeans and some other black pieces make for a classic black outfit!
Which of these looks do you like the best or would you be most likely to wear? I have to say, I think the classic black has to be my favorite. It’s just timeless in every sense of the word. Truly though, if you don’t have a leather jacket, moto or otherwise, you’re missing out on a great piece for your wardrobe. It makes a statement but is also effortless and has endless possibilities. Plus it serves a purpose in keeping you warm! Although, I’ll be honest and say that I do recommend wearing a proper coat when it’s snowing. 😛 It made for good pictures though, what can I say? Haha!
Thanks for reading today everyone! As always, let me know if you have any requests on specific items to wear 3 ways! I always love being able to share posts that I know you want to see. 🙂
