As you guys probably know by now, Charlie and I are fairly new to the Philadelphia area. We only live about 20 minutes away from the city, so we love spending our days off exploring! It’s so fun seeing new places in the city, even in the winter when we have to stay bundled up! One of the things I love most about Philly is how different all of the neighborhoods are. You can get a taste of so many different lifestyles and it offers so much variety! So far, Old City is my favorite part of the city. I love how quaint and charming it is! Old City—hence the name—is home to some of Philly’s most well known historic sites. The cobble stone streets, old architecture, and windowsill flower boxes make for such great site seeing (and photo-ops, of course! Ha!)! If you guys are ever visiting the Philly area, I would highly recommend checking out Old City. And if you need some yummy pizza while you’re there, Pizzeria Stella will do the trick! 😉
North Carolina had winters and it got cold, for sure, but not like the northeast! And naturally we spend longer periods of time outside up here since we spend a lot of time in a big city. I’m forever bundled up when we’re hanging out in Philly. This coat is one of my favorites to wear on windy days! Since the coat is long, it blocks the wind from more than just your torso and it keeps you nice and cozy!
This is such a sleek coat, so I always love pairing it with a good neutral look (what’s new? Ha!). A great pair of black skinnies and taupe booties are a super easy go to! But you can still give things character with a sassy faux fur scarf and a fun pom pom beanie!
How do you guys bundle up and stay cute when you’re out on the town during the winter?
