Hello hello and happy Sunday gang! I hope everyone’s having a wonderful weekend! Charlie and I are gearing up for some family time at the beach for the Fourth of July and we. can. not. wait! Things have been getting a little hectic over here and we haven’t seen our families in a couple of months so we’re really excited for a break from reality along with a good dose of family time. Next month will be even better because we get to see both families! We love the summer because we get to spend a lot more time back home with our families. Anyways, do you guys have any fun plans for the Fourth? Can’t believe it’s already that time of year!
You guys probably know that I love a good button detailing and, if you don’t, now you do. 😉 So I’m getting plenty of mileage out of this button cami. I styled it in two fun ways recently and couldn’t decide which way I should share so I just decided to share both! One outfit shows how you can make the cami casual and beachy and the other shows how you can dress it up.
Button Cami – Casual and Beachy
This first little look is one that would be great for vacation or just a fun-filled summer weekend. I kept things super casual with a pair of drawstring linen shorts. I LOOOVE these shorts! They are super comfy, have a great rise and length, and super versatile – highly recommend if you’re on the hunt for casual linen shorts. I wore a pair of flat white sandals to keep it casual, carried my net bag for a beachy and summery vibe and spruced things up with a fun blush colored kimono and matching lipstick.
Button Cami – Dressed Up
It may seem like a casual piece, but it’s actually pretty easy to dress up a button cami. For this look I paired the cami with a pretty floral slip skirt and simple white heels. I carried a black and green bag for a little added excitement but kept things tame with really minimal accessories.
Which of these outfits did you like the best? It’s always nice to dress up but I’m a casual girl at heart and, I couldn’t tell you why, but that the first outfit has been one of my favorites in a while! It’s so easy (and comfy!) but also so stylish… pretty much the perfect combo. 😉 I hope you guys enjoyed today’s post! Thanks for stopping by!
