How has everyone’s week been so far? I can’t believe it’s almost over! My week has been super productive. I’ve been feeling so much better over the last week so I’ve been taking advantage of that and getting caught up on my to-do list! I’ve been running tons of errands, took Aspen to the groomer, and I’ve tried like 3 new recipes this week (all of which I’ve loved… and Charlie’s enjoyed most, so we’ll call it a win!). I also treated myself and got my nails done yesterday. I’m super excited for this weekend, though! I’m headed to a blog conference in the city and I’m so excited to meet some of my new Philly blogger friends in person! And I’m super excited to learn a lot and make The Savvy Camel better for you guys, because you’re what it’s all about!
I love this look for spring! I’m still getting used to spring in the north east and the fact that I still need a jacket some days. Spring in NC was basically just pre-summer. But I actually kind of love that because it gives me more options. And what self-proclaimed fashionista doesn’t love to have at least 8 million options to choose from? So yeah, super excited about styling this camo jacket for spring! I feel like it has so many possibilities!
For this look, I kept things pretty casual and went for a tom-girl sort of style. I paired the jacket with my tomgirl jeans from American Eagle. These are some of my favorite relaxed fit jeans-I have them in another color too (I size down in this style, FYI). Not sure why, but I’ve really been into slouchier jeans lately. I don’t know if I’ve been feeling laid back or if I’m just wanting to deviate from the always trusty skinny jeans a bit.
But camo and relaxed jeans are ultra tom-girl and it’s just my personal preference to always keep things at least a little feminine. So to make things a little more “girly,” I added a lacy satin cami (is there actually anything more feminine? haha) and a pair of casual lace up heels. I love these shoes so much, by the way! They’re so comfortable and so versatile. My two faves. (Secret… one of my good friends wanted my help deciding between these shoes and another pair… and I loved them so much I had to get myself a pair too. I’m weak, y’all, I’m weak.) I topped the look off with some simple but pretty bracelets and a good bag! Easy peasy!
That’s it for today’s look! I hope you guys liked it as much as I did! How would you guys style this camo jacket for spring? I think I want to dress the jacket up next time, so I’m excited for that!
