Hey everybody! What’s goin’ on? Can you believe it’s the last day of November? (Happy birthday to my sis!) It’s been a whirlwind of a week for me and something tells me it’s just the beginning. The holidays are always such a hectic time! I’m not complaining though because they’re such a happy time. Anyone else a sucker for Christmas time? The day after Thanksgiving was the first day of Christmas if you ask me, haha. I am definitely my mother’s daughter. 😉 Christmas music is already in full force and I picked up a few little Christmas decorations yesterday. Since we downsized our apartment earlier in the year to save money for the house, we don’t have space to put up our Christmas tree. It’s heartbreaking, really. But I couldn’t let the holiday go by without a little something so I snagged a mini tree and a reindeer from Homegoods, hehe. Isn’t Homegoods heaven on earth?
It seemed fitting to share these classic fall layers with you guys on the last day of November. I know that December 1st isn’t the first day of winter, but it’s officially Christmas month which just changes the vibes. Is that just me? Although, it was almost 60 degrees yesterday so I’m not sure why I’m still convinced it’s time for ear muffs and snow boots, haha.
Aaaanyways, this look is fairly simple but those tend to be my favorite looks! I just wore an oversized beige turtleneck with classic blue skinny jeans, a pair of taupe booties, and a matching clutch. I wore my favorite oversized trench coat and gave the look a subtle boost with the plaid scarf and by letting my sweater sleeves peak out from under my coat. Making your layers visible almost always elevates a look!
What did you guys think of this simpler everyday look? Hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful last day of the month!
