Hey hey gang! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week so far! Life seems to keep dumping all over Charlie and me but we’re taking it a day at a time over here. I took a much needed mental health day yesterday. I’m not always the best at shutting things down and relaxing but after the last 10 days, I needed to recharge. It may sound cliche, but you can’t pour from an empty cup and I was feeling awfully drained so I decided to take a day for me. Mental and emotional health are JUST as important as physical health but we tend to be so quick to neglect it and push its limits. I’m trying to create better self care habits but it’s a challenge! What are some things you do to make sure you’re staying mentally and emotionally healthy?
Chicwish sent me the perfect classic spring tunic and I think you guys are gonna love it! It’s a simple white button down but it has a touch of boho with the crochet detailing, pretty bell sleeves and a great swingy fit. It’s super flattering for all shapes, sizes and ages! There are also so many ways to style it. I decided to go for something a little more structured with a pair of slightly distressed black skinny jeans and black block heels. I gave things a strong spring touch with a boater hat and straw crossbody bag.
You could totally make the top more whimsical if you played more heavily on its boho side. Pair it with a light wash pair of mom or boyfriend jeans and a pair of flat brown sandals and you’ve got yourself a really cute laid back look! You could also dress it up by going for a chic all white look. I think it would be super pretty with a pair of white jeans, white sandals a light straw handbag (like this one) and a good pair of statement earrings!
The possibilities with this classic spring tunic really are endless and I definitely am going to be getting some good mileage out of it this spring. I’m even thinking a pair of cut offs and a lighter hat will make for a really cute summer outfit! What do you guys think of this little look? How would you wear this classic spring tunic? Thanks so much for reading today and I’ll catcha next time! 🙂
