Hey hey gang. I hope everyone’s settling nicely into 2018! I’m officially back in the groove of things after the holidays and already feeling super productive. Except I did a really, really dumb thing and I’m kicking myself so hard for it. And I’m just gonna tell y’all because why the heck not share the screw ups, too? We’re all human after all. I wasn’t supposed to post this outfit until Sunday because I had another one for today. But as it turns out, I’m a moron and managed to accidentally delete every single photo of the outfit that was supposed to be for today before ever putting them on my computer to edit and save. LESSON LEARNED. Be 80 million gazillion times more careful when doing a massive sweep of your memory card on your camera. But I suppose it’s okay that I’m sharing this cozy UGG outfit early since winter storm Grayson is making his presence known. Brr!
T-SHIRT, similar here | VEST, similar here and here | SWEAT PANTS (I recommend sizing down if you’re between sizes), similar here | BOOTS, I can’t find my exact style anywhere (I snagged them on sale earlier this season) but there are similar styles here, here, here, and here | BEANIE | SCARF | WATCH
I never really saw myself as an UGG kind of girl until I moved to PA. NC had winters and snow-it’s not like I lived in Florida, but I never realized how much colder it really was up here during the winter until I started living here! I decided I needed a pair of warm shoes for days where I was dressing down to run errands and sneakers weren’t sufficient but snow boots were way too much. And I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what UGGs were made for. So I set out to find a simple pair that suited me best. I’m figuring out how to style them in my own way and I’m actually really liking them!
Considering UGGs are super comfy and cozy, I decided to style a super comfy and cozy UGG outfit for their debut on the blog! Hehe. I wore them with these awesome olive green sweatpants. I love these for two reasons. One, I don’t like baggy sweat pants but I also don’t like how joggers hug your ankles-so these are a perfect hybrid. I love the look of joggers, I just don’t find them to be comfortable. It’s weird. Leggings don’t bother me since they’re tight all through the leg but there’s something about joggers only hugging my ankle that’s bothersome to me. I always try to shake them down, haha. Aaaanyways, enough about my feelings on joggers. The second reason I love these sweatpants is because they’re stupid soft! Lou & Grey just kills the loungewear game my friends.
I know I look like a ski bunny, but I couldn’t resist pairing the puffer vest with the boots. I just wore it overtop of a simple long sleeve white tee. And I wore a matching camel beanie and scarf to compliment the boots. The scarf and beanie are also chenille so they are suuuper soft and cozy. Obviously have to keep the cozy theme going.
Hope you guys enjoyed this look! Much more laid back than my usual style but I looove dressing down, and I’m sure you guys probably do too so I figured why not share some leisure style?! Everyone stay cozy in this cold weather! Hope the winter storm doesn’t get you too badly!
