Hey everyone! Hope you guys have been having a productive and fun week! I’ve been running a lot of errands trying to get ready for vacation! Aspen and I both got our hair done 😉 and I picked up a few last minute things! I started packing but still have some work to do there… that’s definitely what I’ll be doing today before work. I’ve also been squeezing in as many workouts as possible. Every bit counts before I hop into a bathing suit, hahaha. I did have a nice, relaxing pool day with a friend of mine on Tuesday, though, so that was a nice little midweek break!
The temps here in PA have been brutal this week. I feel like I’m back in NC… it sucks. I mean, I love NC but I do not love NC heat and I have always made that known, haha. So this little look seemed appropriate as a way to start transitioning into summer. Granted, spring to summer wardrobe is barely a transition, but there’s something about a crisp white look that just feels so summery.
I really like this crisp white with stripes look. I love this top! I love that it’s just white and grey-easy and light neutrals-but the different sizes and directions of the stripes make it a little more exciting. In order to keep things crisp and white… I paired it with my white skinny jeans (groundbreaking!), obviously, haha. I wore a simple pair of white sandals (mine are from last year, but I linked some similar styles above!) and some simple silver accessories. I did carry my light sea foam green mini cross body bag to add a very subtle hint of color. You may have noticed, but this has been my go to bag for warmer weather. It’s a neutral enough color that it’s very versatile, it’s a great summer color, and the size of the bag is perfect for strolling around in the summer time (nothing worse than being weighed down by a giant, heavy bag when it’s hot out!).
Do you guys also feel like crisp white looks scream “summer” or is that just me? What are some of your favorite ways to make your wardrobe feel a little more summery than springy?
