Hey hey everybod-ay! Hope you’ve all been having a wonderful weekend! Yesterday, Charlie and I helped some friends of ours move. They just bought their first home and we’re so excited for them! And it’s such a cute place! It has us itching to be homeowners too now, haha. The move went well, though. But to be fair, that’s easy for me to say because we helped load and unload and then got to leave. We’re not still unpacking and what not, haha. Fun fact if you didn’t already know: I’ve moved 3 times in the last year. So I feel for them! Anywho, I’m off to work later this afternoon so I’ll just be resting with the hubs until then. 🙂
I love this cropped off the shoulder top and high waisted rose pants combo. I’m pretty sure these pants might be the brightest colored piece of clothing I own. But I love them so much! The color is earthy enough that, even though it’s bold, I don’t feel like I’m wearing a slice of the rainbow. The color is a great year round color, too, which is even better! Unfoooortunately my exact color is sold out, but I linked up the same style pants, a similar pair in blush, and a different style in a similar color-so there are still tons of options for ya’ll!
Since the pants are high waisted and have a cute tie waist, I thought it would be fun to subtly show that off. So I wore this cropped off the shoulder top with them. This is the only crop top I own! I have no clue why, but I never like crop tops when I try them on! I think it’s because I have a short torso. But I like this one because it’s nice and flowy-so it might be my way of easing into crop tops. Plus, I wear it with high waisted pants so that helps lessen the crop effect that much more.
Since the top and pants were loose fitting, I decided to wear some strappy heels in order to elongate the look. I carried my nude, mini quilted cross body bag and wore some simple statement earrings to complete the look! Hope you guys enjoyed the look! Have a great rest of your weekend and a happy start to your week!
