Do you guys ever feel like you have really productive days where you really chiseled away at your unending to-do list yet somehow you end up feeling like you accomplished nothing? That’s totally how I’ve been feeling the last week for some reason. I’ve been getting so much done but it’s like these bigger, overarching tasks keep pressing. Anyways, I hope everyone else is feeling like their productivity is paying off a little more than mine, haha.
On that note, can you believe that Thanksgiving is in ONE WEEK?! It’s crazy. Charlie and I are hosting our first Friendsgiving this weekend, so we’re slowly getting ready for that. Tuesday, I cleaned the apartment in preparation and I’m going to pick up a ham this afternoon! We’re getting really excited and hoping this will turn into a tradition. It’s a pretty small Friendsgiving since we’re in our little one bedroom apartment, but next year we’ll be in our house and can go full force! A little secret about us: we love hosting!

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought I would make my next few outfit posts be good options for what you can wear for Thanksgiving festivities. I loved this little denim jumper for fall, but also thought it would make a great Thanksgiving outfit as well. It’s stylish and festive without being fancy. It’s also roomy which always comes in handy for a full day of eating, hahaha.
I wanted to keep the denim jumper looking a little more clean cut so I wore it with a simple black turtleneck sweater, black tights (legit my favorite brand of tights-I won’t buy anything else!), and cognac booties. You know I love mixing black and brown, hehe. I kept warm in an oversized trench coat (I got this coat back in August for $37! It was originally $180 at Gap… the beauty of shopping off season!) and carried my trusty grey canteen bag. This is a more laid back look so I topped it off with a simple pair of black drop earrings and my gold watch.
Is this something you would wear to your Thanksgiving festivities? Hope you guys enjoyed!
