Hey hey everybody! What’s going on? Happy Sunday! I hope everyone’s had a wonderful weekend so far. My father-in-law and sister-in-law got into town yesterday evening so we took them out to dinner and had some nice quiet time just catching up. Today we’re headed to see the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team in the SheBelieves Cup! As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not a huge sports fan, but A) I’m looking forward to spending some time with family and B) I love what the SheBelieves tournament stands for. It’s all about empowering women! It’s pretty cool because everyone from the soccer players (obviously) to the DJ for the tournament are all driven, hardworking, and successful women spreading this message. I love it! Way to be amazing female role models! (You can read more about the tournament here if you’re interested!)
I told you guys I always get the timing wrong on the seasons when I post outfits, haha. Despite the fact that last week was in the upper 60s and I was more than comfortable taking photos in this outfit yet we were hit with a Nor’easter on Friday, I stand by the hope that spring is just around the corner. So with that in mind, I wanted to dive right into some spring material over here with this super cute early spring outfit!
I found this top on sale at LOFT (y’all know I’m a big time LOFT girl) a while back and haddd to get it (it’s still on sale and in stock in all sizes, FYI). I didn’t really jump on the ruffle bandwagon, but this was just enough ruffle that I loved it! And it’s so feminine and fun. I wanted to keep things feeling casual and fun so I paired the top with my distressed tomgirl jeans from American Eagle (one of my favorite fits of jeans, bee-tee-dubs). As you well know, I love mixing neutrals, so to offset the black (we’re going for spring vibes here, after all) I added camel accessories. So I wore camel loafers, a camel floppy hat, and carried a camel bag. The outfit was fun enough on its own that I went with minimal accessories-just my everyday gold watch, a dainty gold necklace, and a good everyday lip color.
What did you guys think of this early spring outfit? Are you ready for spring as much as I am? Bring it onnnn, weatherman! Enjoy the last of your weekend, everybody! Much love and thanks for stopping by.
