What’s goin’ on everyone? I hope you’ve all managed to stay warm this weekend. It has been COLD here in the Philly area. I’ve literally never felt temperatures this cold. Charlie and I shot 5 looks yesterday (well, 4 and then we reshot this one that I’m sharing with you today because I’m a big fat dummy) and, well, you’re going to be seeing a lot of indoor shoots in the coming weeks. Haha! I’m not strong enough to brave 30mph winds and 4 degree weather for outdoor blog shoots. I’m just not. I don’t know how some bloggers do it!
In other news, I took a poll on Instastories last week asking if anyone would be interested in a makeup tutorial, so I’m going to have one for you guys before the end of the month! I do so little with my make up-it takes me less than 10 minutes and I don’t wear foundation, so it’ll be a different type of tutorial and I’m excited for that! Aaaand speaking of polls, I’m going to put up a new year poll soon because I would love feedback on what you guys like, dislike, want to see, etc. So I’ll letcha know when that goes out!
I’ll be honest and say I hadn’t super into the embroidery trend until I saw this embroidered mock neck top! Everything seemed to be just a little over the top for me, but this top was perfect! It was just a touch of embroidery without being overboard. And it was black. And I love black, sooo.
I didn’t want to style the top in a really “girly” way, so I wore all black with it. I wore black high waisted skinnies, black booties, and a black coat and scarf. But I did break the black up with a pretty blush colored belt and my trusty grey bag. I also wore a rose gold watch (which you can’t actually see) and rose gold tassel earrings to compliment the belt.
What about you guys? Are you into the embroidery trend? Hope you enjoyed this little look! Everyone stay warm! Hopefully we’ll be seeing some rising temperatures soon! Much love!
