Happy Sunday you guys! Charlie and I hosted our first Friendsgiving last night and it was wonderful! We kept it pretty small, but we’re already excited to host a bigger crowd next year in our house! Who else has hosted a Friendsgiving? We had ham instead of turkey because we figured everyone would have plenty of turkey on Thursday. We did have ooone little mishap, though. Not really, but one of our friends brought an apple pie and a pumpkin pie. But you see, Charlie decided to go sugar free for the month of November so it was basically torture for him. Poor guy. Everyone else enjoyed the sweets though, haha. I’m super proud of him, though. He has a bigger sweet tooth than literally anyone I’ve ever met but he’s kicked butt at this!
This was my actual Friendsgiving outfit. I planned this post and then decided to actually wear it to our Friendsgiving. Practice what you preach, right? Haha. I wanted to feel Thanksgiving festive but also a little sassier since it was a Friendsgiving. So I wore this cozy brown sweater and spiced it up with leather leggings. I paired it with my sleek taupe sock booties and wore some simple gold jewelry to add a little shine. I love when simple outfits still feel stylish!
What types of outfits would you guys wear for a Friendsgiving? Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for stopping by and much love to ya!
