Hi friends! How’s everyone’s long weekend been so far? Charlie’s dad came up to visit for the weekend. We went to the U.S. vs. Costa Rica men’s qualifier on Friday. Yesterday, we just took him to our favorite brunch spot and dinner spot and hung out at the apartment. It was nice to just have some quiet downtime with him. He’s headed home today and Charlie and I are off to NY to celebrate my birthday! My super sweet momma sent me tickets to Chicago for my birthday, so we’re going to see that tomorrow night. That’s been on the top of my Broadway must-sees list for years so I’m super excited! Thanks Momma! (Obviously this is an appropriate spot for a slew of heart eyed emojis). Tuesday we’re seeing Jimmy Fallon before we head home, so it’s gonna be a pretty cool couple of days in the city!

Hollllly cow I love love love this dreamy gold floral kimono! (I’m so sorry that it sold out before I was able to get a post up, but I linked 3 other options above that I think you’ll really like!) I picked this up at work one day and pretty much everyone in my department was like “oh my gosh that’s so you,” haha. It’s so different than anything in my closet but I actually feel like it suits me so well. It’s definitely a chic looking piece but, I actually used to have a very bohemian style, so it sort of brings that side of me out a bit!
Obviously, when you’re wearing a gold floral kimono, you don’t need to go crazy with the rest of your outfit because that’s gonna speak for itself, haha. In order to keep the look more chic than bohemian, I wore all white underneath-white skinny jeans and an easy white swing tank. I wore my strappy nude heels and my go-to mini cross body bag for a dressier look. To top the look off, I wore a fun pair of drop earrings because A) they matched way too well not to wear them and B) they really just tied the look and feel of the outfit together. I know I’ve mentioned them before, but my earrings are from Rocksbox and if you haven’t checked them out, you’ve gotta! It’s an awesome jewelry subscription box that I’m lovin’! If you’re trying to up your accessory game and want to test out some styles before committing to buying anything, try Rocksbox out for one month for free! Just use the promo code “thesavvycamelxoxo“.
Hope you guys enjoyed this look! Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend and see ya back here soon!
