Happy Sunday everybody! How’s your weekend been? Charlie and I went out with a friend of mine from work and her husband for a little Cinco de Mayo dinner and drinks on Friday. And yesterday, well… we were just really, really lazy. It was chilly and gloomy out and we just needed a restful day together 🙂 We spent the day watching our favorite shows and eating leftovers. Only problem is now we’re almost done with our show and need something new to watch together! Any suggestions? Send ‘em this way! And as a total side note, today is my very best friend’s 25th birthday! Wishing I was in NC to give her a birthday hug but sending all of my love her way!
So several weeks ago I said I was going to make an effort to put more color into my wardrobe and I’m pretty sure I’m failing miserably so far. My extent of color since then has been blush and army green… ha! I just love me some neutrals. They’re classic, versatile, and effortless. And if you do it right, they can even be timeless. So here’s to another neutral look!
I actually really, really love this look! It’s so spring time easy breezy with the grey maxi dress and boater hat. This dress is ah-mazing. It’s so super comfy and very budget friendly! I love the subtle details in it like the cut out back, side slits, and… wait for it… pockets! Because for whatever reason, every girl ever loves pockets on a dress.
I knotted the front of the dress for a little extra pizazz (do people actually use that word? Because I definitely do…) and added this adorable and perfect boater hat as the staple accessory. These sandals were the perfect casual sandal for this look. Really though they’re just the perfect casual sandal in general soooo. Topped the look of with a cute bracelet and necklace (the necklace is sold out but I linked a similar style!) that had a small pop of olive green!
Do you guys revert back to neutrals as much as I do? I just always seem to end up back there. I am who I am, what can I say? 😛 Hope you enjoy the last day of your weekend!
