Happy Easter you guys! What is everyone doing for the holiday? Charlie and I just plan to enjoy the beautiful weather together! We’ll take Aspen for a walk and grill out later in the day. And maybe munch on a little Easter candy in between! No complaints here!
But you guys, before we get this party started, don’t forget that today is the LAST DAY to enter to win a FREE wood watch from JORD! If you haven’t entered yet, click here for the entry form! Father’s Day and graduations are just around the corner and this would make a great gift for someone! 😉 And ladies, don’t forget that you’ll get a $25 off gift code just for entering! I can’t wait to see who the winner is going to be!

Sometimes it’s nice to throw on your favorite, comfortable basics for a laid-back weekend look. I love to be super casual sometimes, especially for running errands or strolling through the Penn’s Landing area. Basics don’t have to be boring. You can totally make them stylish and effortless!
For this look I paired my white skinny jeans with a classic, grey V-neck t-shirt. These are two things that any gal should have in her closet! As is a great chambray button down! I tied mine around my waist—so glad that trend is in again! It’s great to have a lightweight layer on hand without actually having to carry it, and when it adds some dimension to your outfit it’s even better!
These mules definitely give this laid-back weekend look some extra style! Even though they’re simple, they’re so stylish. Also… super comfy in case you were wondering. And of course you finish every look off with some accessories. I went for a subtle layered necklace, my casual leather watch, and some fun sunnies! I also love this cute little seafoam green bag. It’s so tiny and perfect for carrying just the essentials (great for travel and site seeing!). My exact bag is sold out, but I linked two similar styles above! Oh, and a cute top-knot never disappoints.
What are your go-tos for a laid-back weekend look? Do you like basics too? Or do you like to go ripped jeans and the graphic tee route? You really can’t go wrong with that either! Hope everyone has a great Easter and end to their holiday weekend!
