Hey hey lovely people and happy Thursday! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week so far. Not a whole lot to report over here. I’ll check back in with ya next week after I’ve had an eventful weekend. 😛 Charlie and I are heading down to Orlando for a couple of days for a spa day and a little shopping to celebrate my birthday a bit early. We’re not doing much shopping though… moving 1,000 miles down the east coast has not been a cheap activity! Anyways, we’ll also be spending a day at Epcot in Disney World with one of Charlie’s very best friends. We haven’t seen him or his family since our wedding (over 3 years ago) so we’re super excited to catch up with everyone! Do you guys have any fun plans for the holiday weekend?

We’re coming up on Labor Day weekend which mean summer is really coming to an end. There’s still technically a couple weeks of summer after Labor Day, but I imagine that down here in Florida we probably have at least a good month left of summer temperatures. 😛 That’s okay, though, because I’m going to have to learn how to dress for fall in this climate so I’ll be utilizing transitional style like this late summer outfit in the meantime.
I thought I would share this late summer outfit with you guys because it’s perfect for the next couple of weeks. You still get summery vibes with the linen cami and straw accessories. But you also get a teeny tiny taste of prepping for fall with long pants and black. This outfit definitely leans more summer than fall, but if you’re in a cooler area or dying for fall clothes, you could always swap the sandals out for a pair of close toed shoes or the straw bag and hat for less summery materials. I’m usually ready for fall fashion by now and, I can’t lie, I think I’m finally getting to that point. But I’m trying to ride out summer fashion for a little while longer because I know I’m not going to be in scarves anytime soon, if it all, down here. 😛 What about you guys? Are you ready for fall fashion or are you still clinging to summer styles too? Either way, I hope you enjoyed today’s look! Thanks so much for reading.
