Hello hello and happy Sunday gang! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful first weekend of 2019. Charlie and I spent Friday catching up on some shows and yesterday we caught up on a little work and ran some errands. Today we’re headed to the gym and doing a bit of tidying but after that, I hope the day includes some couch potato time. 😛
SWEATER, similar here and here | LEOPARD PRINT PANTS, curvy fit here | GREY TEDDY COAT (c/o Chicwish), currently under $100 and available in beige, mauve and black | GREY BOOTIES, similar here, here, here and here | BAG, similar here (same brand and size), here and here (only $30) | BERET
You guys probably know that leopard print is super popular right now. I’ve always loved leopard print, though. I’ve even shared a ton of it on the blog. 😛 Everything from a leopard print sweater, a leopard print cardigan, a leopard print skirt, a leopard print clutch, leopard print booties and leopard print sandals. So today I’m going for a new leopard print item – pants!
I love these leopard print pants from LOFT because they’re grey and a different take on a “traditional” leopard print. I also feel like the fact that they’re grey makes them a bit more versatile than a typical leopard print because you can wear endless amounts of color with them. Despite that, though, I actually went with a monochromatic look here.
Chicwish gifted me the best teddy coat and I thought it was a killer combo with the leopard print pants! To stick with the grey theme I wore a a simple grey sweater and a grey beret. I wore a pair of charcoal booties and carried a charcoal crossbody bag to bring out the darker greys in the pants and to give the look a bit of contrast.
Like I said, though, these pants have endless possibilities. They would look super sleek with a black sweater and black heels. You could also have some fun with them and wear them with a bright colored top or sweater (red would really pop!. How would you guys wear these leopard print pants? They’re the best kind of statement piece because they make a statement but they’re also insanely versatile!
