Hey hey gang! What’s everyone been up to this weekend? Yesterday I had a delicious brunch with some awesome Philly blogger ladies. I always love spending time with them! Today is football day which means Charlie (not me) will be watching football and I’ll probably catch up on my girly Netflix shows on my laptop. Sundays are nice during football season because we both get to do things we like (that the other doesn’t) but still be in the same room. 🙂 Do any of you multitask like that? Charlie thinks we should just put 2 TVs in the basement, hahah!

Leopard print is not even a little bit of a new concept but it’s super trendy right now. And I’m totally okay with that because I’ve loved leopard print for the longest time. Take this leopard print sweater for instance: it’s 3 years old but perfectly relevant right now. Gotta love those timeless prints and fits. 😉 Anywho, I wanted to style my old leopard print sweater to show you guys that you don’t always have to have something brand new to be stylish. The sweater I linked above is basically an updated version of the one I’m actually wearing because it’s the same brand and fit. 🙂
I wanted to style the leopard print sweater in a way that was somewhat unexpected without being off the wall so I wore it with a pair of light wash distressed jeans. A classy yet modern and laidback combination. The sweater is a classic print and timeless fit so, to play on its classy feel, I wore a pair of Chanel inspired pumps. On the other hand, I carried a casual but timeless black crossbody bag to match the laidback feel of the jeans.
Everything else was somewhere in between in order to maintain balance in the look. I wore a simple camel scarf to bring out the nude tones and I wore simple, silver accessories. I even styled my hair in a way that was a blend between classy and laidback. The pony tail is obviously laid back but leaving my bangs down brought style and class to the hairdo.
Don’t you think a leopard print sweater is actually a classic item? At least if it’s a classic cut, anyways. 🙂 I hope you liked this look and are inspired to style your leopard print sweater in a different way the next time you wear it! As always, thanks for popping in today and enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
