Hello hello and happy Sunday you guys! Charlie and I are back home from our wonderful cruise. Coming back from vacation is always bittersweet because, on the one hand, vacation is over but, on the other hand, we get to see our pup and sleep in our own bed again. 🙂 I was also feeling super overwhelmed before we left for vacation so as far as getting back to work goes, I’m excited to be doing it feeling refreshed and rejuvenated! It was needed. I also can’t wait to share some looks that Charlie and I shot during our vacation over the next couple of weeks! Definitely have a bad case of spring fever now…
DRESS (sadly sold out but I’m sharing the link in case it comes back in stock ;)), also love this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one and this one | BOOTIES (c/o Amazon), similar for less here | BAG, similar here (only $15) | EARRINGS ( c/o BaubleBar)
Even though it may not feel like it, spring is just around the corner and I’m wishin’ for it hard. Which also means I’m having to refrain myself from dressing for spring while it’s still chilly out. So I’m trying to ride out some winter to spring transitional styles which, sometimes, can be hard to dress up. So today, I thought I would share 9 great floral print long sleeve dresses that will transition you beautifully into spring.
All of the long sleeve dresses are linked above but I wanted to share some ways you can make them work form now until spring truly arrives. A great pair of dress booties will keep things a bit more winter appropriate for the time being but you can switch them out for pumps as the temperatures rise. You can even go for a pair of dressy sandals once it’s truly warm outside… plus it’ll give you a chance to show off your spring pedicure. 😉
Accessories can also help with the transitional aspect. A pair of white or ivory earrings are a great way to brighten the look up while you’re still in booties. As it warms up a bit, you can always wear a simpler, dangly pair of earrings that are shown off by a simply little updo. And by the the time spring styles are really prominent, you can swap out leather bags for delicate straw bags.
What are some ways you like to wear dresses during this time of year? Dresses can sometimes be challenging in cooler temperatures but, as Barney Stinson would say, challenge accepted! 😉 Thanks so much for reading today and I hope you enjoyed the post!
