Hello lovely people! Hope you’re all doing well and having a great weekend so far! Not sure if you saw my post or stories on Instagram, but I had an event filled weekend, hehe. Friday, Charlie and I had a walk through of our townhome now that all of the dry wall is completed. It was so stinkin’ exciting and I was smiling ear to ear all day long, I swear! We got to take some measurements so we could go ahead and get things like blinds before moving day. Don’t love the idea of moving into a house with no blinds… that’s uncomfortable, haha. Yesterday evening we had dinner and played scrabble with some of my friends from work, so that was a fun low-key evening. 🙂 In less exciting news, my MacBook kicked the bucket so I had to dish out some cash for that. It’s a lot less fun spending money when you weren’t planning to or didn’t want to, ha!
If you recall, I mentioned that I’ve partnered up with a few talented ladies that I went to college with. For today’s post, I’m sharing some stylish loungewear with this gorgeous handmade bralette from Desirables by Amber Nicole! I’ll be honest and say I don’t normally look like this when I’m chillin’ at home (although I totally wish I did, haha). But I’m working on upping my loungewear game and I’m pretty sure a pretty bralette is a must-have for any loungewear collection. So I’m definitely thanking Amber for getting me started off on the right foot, hehe.
I obviously wanted to showcase how pretty the bralette was for this post, but don’t stress if you want to wear your sweatpants and bralette to the grocery store because you can always throw a good oversized t-shirt on and just let a strap peek out! A bralette is a great way to add a feminine touch to a slouchy loungewear look. Plus, bralettes are just a million times more comfortable than a normal bra. Really trying to learn how to work them into my everyday wear now.
My favorite thing about Amber’s designs is that they’re totally customizable and made-to-order just. for. you. For instance, I’m wearing her Jezebel Bralette that’s actually designed to have straps across the chest (which I also really loved!) but she made the bralette without the extra straps for me! You don’t find customizable designs many places these days and I love that she does that! Plus… the thing fit like a freakin’ glove!
I hope you guys enjoyed today’s laid back look. I know I did, hehe. This has me inspired to do some more comfy looks like loungewear and athleisure if that’s something that would interest you guys. Let me know your thoughts! As always, thanks SO much for stopping by. And of course a huge thank you to Amber for the absolutely beautiful bralette! You are so talented! Keep up the awesome work! 🙂
