How the heck is it already June?! This year has honestly flown by for some reason! And I’m sure it’s not going to slow down now because we have some summer travel plans and, well, summer just never seems to last long enough. Anywho, I slacked on my monthly roundup in April but I’m not gonna make a habit of that! But before we dive straight into May’s Instagram roundup I just wanted to give a super quick shout out to my niece and wish her a very happy birthday! Miss you and can’t wait to see you in a few weeks! 😉
For Instagram roundups, I typically share your top 10 favorite Instagram posts from the month. But this time I’m doing something a little bit different and sharing all of the Instagram posts that never made it to the blog (in order from your least liked to your most liked!), that way you know you didn’t miss anything! I also usually do a more personal roundup but between the fact that life hasn’t been super interesting lately and the fact that there will be some extra posts to share this way I figured I’d not bore you guys too much today. 😉 BUT, if you prefer the old way, I will definitely continue doing that in the future! Just let me know your thoughts!
May was Mental Health Awareness Month so I shared a little bit about my experience with depression and a few facts about the issue. You can see the post here.
Shared a good steal on a t-shirt and talked about how you don’t have to dress extravagantly or wear anything ground breaking in order to look stylish. 🙂
Took a flatlay just because I had a vision for an outfit and wanted to take advantage of a bouquet of flowers. 😉
May 19th was World IBD Day so of course I had to show off my purple ribbon tattoo and talk a little bit about life with Crohn’s. You can read the post here.
Found the perfect summer sweater and decided to show how a pair of shows can totally change the vibe of an outfit! Which shoes do you like best with it?
Found the cutest little cafe in Old City after shooting with my friend Jozy. The walls are completely covered in paint samples and fade through the colors of the rainbow. So cute! If you’re ever in Old City, stop by Frieda Cafe Atelier Store and grab a chocolate croissant. 😉
Had a colonoscopy, took a nap, and then went to shoot 3 looks because I’m a crazy woman. But mostly because the weather was beautiful and I wanted to take advantage of it!
Was on the hunt for a pair of flat black espadrilles and I found the perfect pair. They’re only $20, very comfortable and available for Prime shipping. And it doesn’t hurt that they were actually the cutest pair I found… especially at that price.
I got to meet Jozy of Blonde & Bliss for the first time and it was wonderful! She’s new to the Philly area so we spent an afternoon exploring old city and taking some photos. She snapped this shot of me and I love it! You can find her on Instagram here.
Finally found a hair bow suitable for short hair (and my neutral taste). 😛
Just had a little moment where I had to gush about my supportive, caring, encouraging, helpful, smart, hardworking, funny and loving hubby… Oops, did I do it again? 😉
Aaaand last but certainly not least, I got to attend a super fun bouquet making workshop with Crafthaus and some lovely blogger friends of mine. It was riiiight up this flower lovin’ fool’s alley.
So there’s a little playback for the month of May! Let me know if you guys like this new way of doing roundups or if you prefer the old way! I’m always curious what you do and don’t enjoy because (obviously) I want to do more of what you do like and less of what you don’t. 😛 Anyways, thanks so much for reading today and HAPPY JUNE, everybody! Talk to ya next time!
