Happy Thursday everybody! How’s everyone’s week been so far? I’m still just crossin’ off my to-do list over here and, I’ve gotta say, it’s a good feeling! Does anyone else love the feeling of making your way through your to-do list? I don’t know about you, but I’m a paper and pencil kind of gal. I love writing things down in a planner and actually crossing them off as I accomplish them. It just feels different to me than having it stored in your phone or on your computer for whatever reason.
Polka Dotted Jumpsuit Styled for Summer
I snagged this polka dotted jumpsuit at the LOFT style party a couple of weeks ago. It was just too cute and too flattering not bring home with me. At first I felt like it wasn’t a wise purchase because it was super summery, so I tried to think of different ways to style it as the weather begins cooling off so that I would get my money’s worth, so to speak. I think it’s always important to imagine different ways something could be worn before you buy it so you don’t end up purchasing things that you only wear once and then just toss.
So, for summer, I thought it would be super cute with a simple pair of white sandals to compliment the white polka dots and a little straw bag to add to the summer feels. I accessorized with a simple but bold pair of earrings that I got from Xeniastudio. The earrings were made by hand by a super talented jewelry maker in Philly that I met at the networking event I went to last week. 🙂
Polka Dotted Jumpsuit Styled for Fall
POLKA DOTTED JUMPSUIT | WHITE SANDALS, similar here | COGNAC PEEP TOE BOOTIES, this year’s style in a different color here, similar here | STRAW BAG, similar here | BROWN BAG | WHITE DENIM JACKET, similar here | HAND MADE EARRINGS | GOLD EARRINGS, similar here | WATCH
Once the weather gets a bit cooler, you can swap out the white sandals for a pair of cognac peep toe booties and a matching bag. Nothing ground breaking at all, just taking it into a new season. 🙂 I layered a white denim jacket over top, again, to compliment the white polka dots but a blue denim jacket would be just as cute! If you wanted to go more casual with the look, you could wear a beige or tan cardigan with a cute pair of mules!
So, what did you guys think of this little jumpsuit? How would you style it for fall? I feel like even though it’s a statement piece, there’s so much you can do with it!
