Happy Thursday lovely people! How is everyone doing today? My mom and my niece arrived yesterday and are here visiting through the weekend and I’m so excited! The weather is looking a little iffy, unfortunately, but we’re still going to do tons of fun things! Today they have to tag along with me to a super quick doctor visit (I’m a lousy host, I know, haha) and then I’m going to show my niece the mall that I used to work at. I’m sure you’re like… you live right by one of the best cities on the east coast and you’re going to the mall? Well, fun fact, the King of Prussia Mall is the second largest mall in the entire country so that’s actually pretty cool, right? And don’t worry, I’m taking them to Philly tomorrow for a cheesesteak and some sight seeing. 😉
This grey, brown, and black cardigan is another great piece that Heartloom sent me to share with you guys and it’s quite possibly one of my favorites. If there’s one thing about my style that remains consistent, it’s that I love neutrals. And I especially love mixing neutrals. I’ve always loved mixing black and brown but this year I’m loving browns and greys together as well. So as you can imagine, this cardigan just absolutely stole my heart because it’s the perfect piece for a bold but neutral fall outfit.
The neutral combination in this cardigan allows you to style it in so many ways but I think my favorite thing about the sweater is that it’s proof that a neutral fall outfit can still be bold and trendy. I decided I wanted to play on that so I styled the cardigan with a trendy pair of off white wide leg jeans (fair warning, you’re probably going to be seeing a lot of these jeans this fall – I’m obsessed!), a simple black t-shirt, a pair of cognac booties and a cognac crossbody bag to match the brown stripes in the cardigan, and a trendy white fedora.
Like I said, this is definitely a trendier look with the jeans and the hat but, again, the beauty of this cardigan is that you can wear it a million different ways. It would look much more timeless with a black top, black skinny jeans, and cognac booties. What are some other ways you would style this cardigan for a neutral fall outfit?
