Hello hello and happy Thursday friends and fam! I hope you’ve all been having a wonderful week so far! I’ve just been doin’ my thang, nothing terribly exciting to report over here honestly. Except that tonight I’m going to be speaking on a blogger panel at Smak Parlour‘s Style, Sip, & Shop in Old City. I’m super excited! I’m honestly a little nervous because it’s my first time doing anything like this but I think it’s gonna be great! If you’re in the area and free from 6-8pm you should come hang out with me and some other bloggers at Smak Parlour tonight! 🙂
Charlie took me on a little shopping spree for my birthday and I picked this suuuper fun rust jumpsuit up at American Eagle! 🙂 I used to never like wearing orange toned things because I thought they didn’t suit me but I’ve decided life is too short not to wear it if ya like it. I died when I saw this! I feel like it’s very different than anything in my closet. It’s definitely more boho, but as I’ve mentioned, I used to have a fairly boho style and it seems like that’s been slipping through a bit lately. I would say it’s more boho chic though because it doesn’t have a crazy wild print and it definitely has some shape about it.
This is one of those pieces that I felt like didn’t need a ton added to it because it does says much on its own so I simply decided to accentuate the white detailing by wearing my ivory booties and ivory fedora. Then I just carried a simple little cross body bag and added a subtle fall lip color and was good to go! I actually wore this for my birthday dinner as well but styled it a bit differently with strappy heels and a fun statement earring. Even though it’s a statement piece, you can still make it your own and do all sorts of different things with it!
What do you guys think of this rust jumpsuit? Is this something you would wear? How would you style it differently? 🙂
