Whaaaat’s up friends and fam?! Hope you’re all gearing up for a fantastic Thursday! I definitely am. I’ve actually been on PTO since Monday, but it’s 100% been a working staycation until today. I took time off from work to… work. Who have I become? I’ve just been feeling so behind and swamped so I’ve taken the last few days to get caught up on some work. I was hoping to get ahead, which didn’t happen, but at least I’m caught up and have a good game plan for keeping things that way! And I wanted to get more done around the apartment than I did, but I’m not stressing over it. Because today… I chill out. I’m gonna sleep in a bit, workout, and then shower and watch TV alllll day long. I’ve been pretty bad about giving myself “me time” lately, which is pretty crazy considering I-and anyone who knows me-knows that I thrive on my “me time.” That’s how I recharge and decompress… which explains why I’ve been stressed and high strung the last month or so. SO, I’ve committed to having one day a week that is all for me! And this a great place for me to plug in that, if you’re struggling with stress and are overwhelmed, make sure you’re doing whatever it is you need to do in order to take care of your mental health!
JOGGERS, similar here, here, and here, same color here | SWEATER, almost identical here, similar here | JACKET, similar here, here, and here | BOOTIES, similar here, here, and here | BAG, similar here | NECKLACE, similar here, here, and here | LIP COLOR
I styled these pants back in the summer (here) but I wanted to style them again in a cooler weather way. I know that we’re nearing the end of winter (hallelujah!), but this salmon joggers and grey moto jacket combo is a great spring transition outfit! The color of the pants is a great nod to warmer weather, but you still have the light weight sweater and moto jacket to keep warm. I mean, we are technically a month away from spring so I’m trying not to get to hasty here, hehe.
I wore a pair of black dress booties with the outfit, but if you’re in a warmer area, you could always trade those out for some peep toe booties, a nice strappy heel, or even just a classic pair of pumps. To accessorize, I wore a killer statement necklace. I’ll still rock a good bib necklace with the right outfit! Aaaand I carried my Rebecca Minkoff crossbody bag (that was my Christmas gift to myself the year before last, hehe) to blend the light greys and the black. And you can never leave the house without a good lip color. 😉 Alright friends, hope you enjoyed the look! Anyone else catching spring fever already? I know I deeefinitely am, especially after the 70 degree weather we’ve had this week! C’mon spring time! Thanks for reading, you guys!
