Happy Sunday lovely people! I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend… so excited that today’s NOT the end of the weekend! Charlie and I are heading into Philly today just to hang out and bop around. It seems like every time we go into the city it’s to take photos, go to an event or something work related. So we decided to take an afternoon and actually just enjoy the city together. 🙂 Now, onto today’s post… who’s feeling a little spring or summer date night inspo with, let’s say, a sassy snakeskin skirt?
TANK TOP (c/o Showpo), also available in pink, green and burgundy | SNAKESKIN SKIRT, similar here (get 20% off + free shipping with code ALLISON20), similar here | SHOES, similar here, here, here and here | BLACK RATTAN BAG, almost identical here ($30) | EARRINGS (c/o BaubleBar)
Snakeskin skirts swept the world by storm back in the fall but, I’m here to tell ya, I don’t think they’re going anywhere anytime soon. I got this snakeskin skirt a while back and have yet to style it on the blog so I thought I would share it with you guys today. And it’s perfect for a little spring or summer date night inspiration.
I actually built the outfit around this tank top. Showpo sent me this tank and I love it. It’s a nice “sexy” top but it’s modest and not revealing so I actually feel comfortable in it. I do recommend sizing down once if you have a smaller bust like me. I thought it would be fun to keep things a little slinky so that’s why I decided to pair it with the snakeskin skirt.
I wore a pair of taupe block heels and carried my black straw bag. This brought out both the black and brown tones all while keeping things dressed up and summery. And then I topped everything off with a nice lip color and some simple accessories. I just got these earrings from BaubleBar and I absolutely love them. They’re simple so they go with anything and everything. Plus, they’re easy to dress up or down and they’re not super heavy so they don’t weigh your ears down!
What did you guys think of this little date night outfit? Do we like to spice things up from time to time or not so much? I hope you enjoyed today’s look and, more importantly, enjoy the remainder of your holiday weekend! Thanks so much for reading.
