Happy Mother’s Day to all of you amazing mamas out there! Wishing a special Happy Mother’s Day to my sweet Momma, my wonderful mother-in-law, my sister, and my dear sister-in-laws. The list could go on with all of the amazing moms I know. I’m super blessed and thankful to have some wonderful examples mothers and amazing women in my life. I hope everyone gets to spend some time with their moms and their children today. I wish I could see my mom and mother-in-law, but I do get to see my mom later this week for a few days which will be wonderful!
TANKTOP (from Express Factory-still available in stores!), similar here | JEANS, similar here and here | SHOES, similar here (also by Franco Sarto and almost identical!) | BAG | HAT (back in stock at Nordstrom this year!) | EARRINGS (c/o BaubleBar) | WATCH | LIP COLOR
Straw hat seasons is here again! Wahoooo! And I loooove me a good hat! The rest of my accessorizing is typically done in the form of statement earrings so I thought I would combine my two favorite accessories (straw boater hats and statement earrings) into one complete look! I wanted to style this look around these stinkin’ adorable BaubleBar earrings (c/o)! They’re like wearing little sunflowers in your ears! Since they’re such a bright color, I wanted to let them do the talking, so I wore neutrals everywhere else.
I wore a cute black and white floral babydoll top that I got from Express Factory (unfortunately you can’t shop online, but it is still available in stores AND I linked a similar one from Express above). The feminine cut and floral print was a perfect compliment to the yellow earrings. I wanted to keep things laid back so I wore girlfriend jeans to keep things slouchy and a pair of simple, casual wedges. Btw, these wedges are as light as a feather and so dang comfy-I’m seriously obsessed with Franco Sarto shoes!
And of course, I topped things off with a straw boater hat. Literally… topped it off… hehe. Thanks for putting up with my lame jokes you guys. 🙂 You guys already know I love to mix neutrals, but the hat goes well with the outfit because it has a black band to tie it to the rest of the black in the outfit and the wedges have a brown sole so that ties it in as well. To keep things feeling springy and free, I carried my black straw circle bag, the perfect compliment for the hat and all of the black!
Anyone else a hat and statement earring lover like me? My fave accessories! Hope you guys enjoyed this fun little look! Now go spend time with the lovely ladies in your life and I’ll see you guys again soon! Much love, especially to the moms!
