Happy Monday friends and fam! I hope you guys didn’t think I forgot about my Style Crush this month. 😉 Last Monday was technically the first Monday of October, but it was also the first day of October and I didn’t want to gip you guys of a roundup. So I just decided to make this month’s style crush happen today instead. 🙂 I always get so excited to share my style crushes with you guys and this month is no exception! My October style crush is one of the first bloggers that I found in the Philadelphia area and I fell in love with her style right away! And she’s a fellow LOFT junkie like me so that definitely didn’t hurt. 😉 She has such a unique yet defined style that I feel like encompasses the best parts of retro, modern, and feminine. So without further adieu, everyone meet…
I mentioned that Chelsea is a mix of modern and retro and you can probably get a feel for what I mean now. She likes to stick to classic pieces but throws in trendier pieces to keep things contemporary. You guys know I love that! I think it’s brilliant to have those classic pieces because they’re timeless and will last you forever but they also evolve with the seasons when you pair them with that season’s hottest trend. Chelsea nails that ev-er-y time. She used to have a full on retro style and has started to move away from that but still adds a retro flare (usually with bags or silhouettes) to her looks. I feel like the shoes and jeans she’s wearing touch perfectly and subtly on her retro side while also remaining classic with a versatile sweater, hat, and bag.
I also love Chelsea’s love and appreciation for all types of styles and how she brings that into her own style so perfectly. She’s always getting inspired by other bloggers (support your local girl gang!) and you can totally see some Audrey Hepburn influence in there as well. 😉 I always try to touch on different styles when I’m building my wardrobe or putting an outfit together but it can be challenging and Chelsea manages to bring different styles and inspiration into one look so incredibly effortlessly!
And that’s the beautiful, classic, retro, and ever stylish Chelsea! I seriously have loved her style since day one. She never disappoints. I mean never. I feel like part of her magic is that she’s one of those bloggers that appeals to everyone but is still 100% her own! She’s such a rockstar! Be sure to check out her blog, Organized Mess, and give her a follow on Instagram as well. If you’re a Madewell, Anthro, or LOFT lover, she’s gotcha covered! 🙂 She also shares fun Sezane styles as well as Everylane. I love everything I’ve ever seen on Everylane, so can someone tell me why I haven’t actually shopped with them yet? I gotta get on that.
Thanks so much to Chelsea for taking the time to shooting with me. And especially for rescheduling because of the rain. And then still getting caught in the rain so improvising like an absolute boss indoors! And thanks, as always, to my hubby for making something of the lousy indoor lighting. He’s the man with the plan. 🙂
