It’s the first Monday of the month so that means it’s style crush tiiiiime! Woohoo! Super excited for the second post in this new series! Today I’m excited to feature a bit of men’s fashion on The Savvy Camel. My whole hope with the Style Crush series is to not only show off different types of style, but dive into some men’s fashion too. One, because I work in men’s fashion in my day job so I actually get excited about men’s style too. And two, because, again, I want to show off other people who deserve a little praise for their killer style-men included.
Today I’m going to introduce you to a co-worker and friend of mine. This guy is quite literally one of the most stylish men I’ve ever met. I’ve never caught him looking anything less than like he just walked out of a fashion spread. And I love his style! It’s so unique, bold, daring, and always perfectly put together. So, I’d like for everyone to meet…
See, what did I tell ya? KILLER style. Tylor’s style channels a lot of twenties vibes, especially when it comes to suiting. Which is quite fitting seeing as how he works in men’s tailored clothing and all (a literal pro). I was super excited when Tylor showed me what he was bringing to the shoot because I feel like it pulls in some of the fortes of his that I happen to love the most. One of which is his uncanny ability to mix tones. He’s so great at mixing cool tones (i.e. a grey suit) with warm and earthy tones (i.e. well… every other piece he’s wearing, haha).
Buuuut what Tylor really kills the game at is his freakin’. attention. to detail! SO GOOD. You’ve probably noticed that I don’t do a ton of accessorizing, mostly because I feel like I always look gaudy when I have way too many pieces on my body. But Tylor has this amazing knack for wearing a ton of different accessories and it never looking like overkill. I need a lesson in accessorizing from him, clearly. I mean, the rings and watch, the hat… he’s always in a hat, by the way. Totally his signature move. I love the days that I wear hats to work because I know I’ll always have a hat buddy if Tylor’s there, haha. And then there’s the tie and pocket square-again with the mixing of tones, but also the pattern mixingggg! SO. GOOD.
Okay you guys, that concludes today’s style crush! I hope you enjoyed Tylor’s killer style as much as I do. He gives you trendiness, classic, and vintage all wrapped into one seamless style. How he does that… I’m not sure. But it’s awesome and I’m glad that he let me show off a quick peek of it! Thanks so much for shooting with me and Charlie (in the freezing cold!), and of course for bringin’ it! 🙂
