Hey hey gang! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week so far! I’m reporting live from week 2 of vacation and trying to emotionally prepare myself for it to come to an end. Because life gets nuts when vacation is over, oof! Anywho, I’ve got a two-fer for you guys today with two ways to wear a sunflower skirt so I’m just gonna dive right in!
2 Ways to Wear a Sunflower Skirt
Dress it Up
I couldn’t decide which way I wanted to style this sunflower skirt for you guys so I just decided to show you how I dressed it up and how I dressed it down. This first look is the dressier of the two. I went for a chiffon top with big ruffles and a simple pair of heels for a dressier touch. I kept things nice and summery with with black woven accessories – a black boater hat, black rattan bag and a black woven belt were the perfect summer-chic finishing touches.
Dress it Down
This second outfit is a more casual variation on the theme. I dressed things down with a linen button cami and a flat white sandals. But I still wore tons of woven accessories to keep things summery. Only, this time, I wore beige to keep things summer-casual. Which outfit do you prefer – more dressy or more casual? Y’all know me, I love my casual clothes so I’m definitely partial to the second outfit. Although, I think the first outfit makes for a great date night, event or even a fancier brunch.
I hope y’all enjoyed today’s post! This sunflower skirt was a bit bold for me but I absolutely love it! Lately I’ve been having fun taking pieces that are a little out of my style realm and making them my own. And this skirt is definitely one that will be staying in my closet for quite some time. 🙂 Thanks so much for reading you guys! You’re the best!
