Hey hey you guys! Happy Tuesday… and more importantly, happy first day of spring! FIIINALLY! Although, I don’t know about where you’re at, but it doesn’t feel anything like spring here in PA. Snow is literally in the forecast for today and tomorrow and I don’t even see 50 degrees predicted until the end of next week. Whyyyy? I used to say I was a cold weather person, but living in the northeast made me realize that I actually just hate extreme heat. The winter up here has seemed to last foreeeever and I’m officially over it, haha.
Anyhow, in honor of the first day of spring, I’m sharing the top 10 spring essentials you need in your wardrobe! Y’all know I lean towards classic pieces (can I get an amen for practicality and versatility?), so most of these are things you’ll be able to wear for years to come. And even the ones that are a little trendier are still classic styles with a trendy twist! I’ve got you covered from your clothes to your shoes to your accessories! And the best part? Everything is under $100! I’m sharing a range of prices for each item too so there’s something for every budget! 🙂
Spring Essentials: Clothes
Let’s talk spring essentials in the form of clothes. There was only ever a brief period in time that I didn’t have a denim jacket ($29.90-$98) in my closet. A serious time piece. Plus, denim jackets are great for any age. In this case, I did lean a bit trendier with the trucker jacket trend but it’s still a staple that can be worn for several seasons. If you guys haven’t noticed, I’m also a big lover of distressed denim ($59.95-$88), and that’s only ten fold during the spring. There’s something about a relaxed pair of distressed denim that’s just effortless. Denim skirts ($19.99-$79.50) are another great timeless staple and, depending on length, are great for all ages. I shared a few different styles here, ranging from a distressed mini to a classy button up.
As far as tops go, I feel like a good relaxed white tee ($19.50-$24.90) is a give-me. I also am a big believer in the striped blue button down ($26.99-$59.50). Great for any occasion, any age, and any style. One of my favorite versatile classics!
Spring Essentials: Shoes
I’ve come to believe that every gal should own a pair of simple espadrilles ($32.99-$69.99). They’re classy, flirty, laid back… they’re like everything all in one shoe. Perfect for spring. Although, I need to practice what I preach because I don’t actually own a pair! What the heck is wrong with me? Pretty sure I’ll be purchasing those Seychelles from DSW. 😉 Aaaand I don’t feel like the mule trend is going anywhere anytime soon so I also leaned a bit trendier here, but I’m loooove love loving woven mules ($24.99-$89.95) for spring! How stinkin’ cute are they?!
Spring Essentials: Accessories
Y’all probably know I love me a good hat. A classic straw hat ($14.98-$44) is absolutely perfect for this time of year and I’m loving Panama hats big time! I don’t know if you would consider tassel earrings ($8.90-$38) to be a staple accessory, but the trend is still going super strong and pretty pastel earrings are a good pop of color to your spring wardrobe, so I’m calling them a spring essential anyways. 🙂 Aaand last but not least we have bags. Straw and rattan are always popular during the warmer months and rattan canteen bags ($29.90-$69.95) are another trend I drool over a bit.
There ya have it, the top 10 spring essentials you should have in your wardrobe! I’m givin’ it to ya honest because these are all things that I’ve had and worn a version of for at least two years. Except for the espadrilles… but like I said, I’m workin’ on that, hehe. What are some other essentials you like to have for spring? Thanks for stopping by and hope you found some good staples to add! Much love and happy spring friends!
