Guys, this week has been nuts! Charlie and I just moved into a new apartment on Saturday and we spent all week getting ready for the move. Plus, the weekend before, we were out of town, so we were a little crunched for time. But the weather was absolutely beautiful all week long, so I couldn’t resist getting together with The Kan of Kandeur again for a little exploring and shooting. We checked out Valley Forge National Historical Park, which was pretty cute! The place is huge so we didn’t get to see hardly any of it! I definitely want to go back and take the pup for some outdoor fun. But guys, it was 70 (that is—seven zero) degrees when we went. In FEBRUARY! What the heck is going on? I’m glad we took advantage of the gorgeous weather, though, because winter is back again.
I love love love these brown velvet culottes from Zara! Confession: they’re actually my first ever pair of culottes! I don’t count hideous, stretchy gauchos from back in the day, haha! Although I am guilty of having worn them. I was like 12 though, okay? But seriously, these are the real deal. Comfy, stylish, and so versatile—are you starting to realize those are the three key components of my wardrobe? Ha!
There are so many ways that these can be styled. I also wore them with a simple, fitted black turtleneck and heeled black booties. But I love this look because there’s a little more to it. I paired the culottes with a simple white, satin camisole, my leather moto jacket (my exact style is sold out from BLANKNYC, but I linked some similar styles above), and my favorite black mules. It’s like a combo of chic, edge, and sophistication. Which is basically the ultimate combo.
Seriously all about some culottes, now. These definitely aren’t going to be my last pair. They’re a great variation to your pant game and so super stylish!
Thanks to The Kan of Kandeur for the photos!
