Hey guys and gals! How’s everyone doing? Charlie and I got back from our Disney vacation late Friday night and we could not be more happy to be back home! We had a rather crazy week, I’m not gonna to lie. I’ve already had some of you ask on Instagram what all went down so I’ll have a little post for you guys next week! I’m not going to rag on Disney, it wasn’t all their fault and there were some fun moments-I just think we drew the short straw and experienced Murphy’s Law at its finest.
But in the mean time, I thought I’d share a little look from our day in Epcot. The thing is, though, I was actually buuuurning up in this outfit, hahaha. BUT, the heat index was 96 degrees that day so it’s not like switching to a tank top would have fixed the problem. The outfit would have been absolutely perfect for what to wear in Florida in the fall since the rest of the week when it was 75 degrees! Just a tip of the iceberg example of Murphy’s Law in action during our trip.
This outfit felt like a great festive look to enjoy the food and wine festival in Epcot. Sight seer style inspired, a roomy top to allow for a full belly (hehe), and perfect for moderate temperatures while still having a fall vibe. Although… it was so hot that we didn’t feel like eating or drinking wine so that was kind of a bust, haha.
Anyways, I wore a classic chambray button down with black distressed shorts. I paired the outfit with brown gladiator sandals with gold details. These sandals have a ton of support and are super comfortable-they were perfectly suitable for a 16K step day. My exact ones are from a couple of years ago but I linked some similar styles above.
My mini crossbody bag is my favorite travel bag. It’s cute, versatile, and the absolute perfect size for traveling because it doesn’t weigh a million pounds. I accessorized with a straw boater hat, gold boyfriend watch, and my favorite sunglasses. All of the brown and gold tones helped the look feel more like fall than summer!
What do you guys like to wear when you’re traveling so that you’re stylish but also comfortable? And what are some ways you like to dress and feel fall festive in warmer weather? Hope you guys enjoyed the look!
