Happy Sunday lovely people! Today I want to do things a little bit differently and I’m going to tell you why. I styled the first look that I’m going to share with you a while back. I knew this would be a great winter to spring transitional outfit so I waited to share it with you. While these photos sat in my back pocket, I got to thinking about how I love to wear white pants in the winter. I actually think I might where white bottoms more in the winter than I do in the spring and summer.
So I decided to round up some of the ways I’ve worn white pants after Labor Day and before Easter as a way to show you how you can wear white pants to transition from winter to spring. These aren’t even all of the ways I’ve worn white pants, just the ones that I think actually make sense for this time of year. So let’s dive in, shall we? 🙂
Six Ways to Wear White Pants to Transition from Winter to Spring
Look 1: Fun Layers
This is the look that inspired me to dig into the white pants archives. 😛 White pants are so incredibly versatile, timeless, stylish, and chic. This was one of those outfits that I honestly kind of just plopped together. I was wanting to wear something a little bit different and trying to work with older pieces in my closet.
I pulled out this tunic that I hadn’t worn in the longest time and thought it needed something extra so that it would look different from ways I had worn it in the past. So I decided to throw the cropped grey sweater on top for a fun and cozy little layer. I added the white pumps and white clutch to keep things light and voilà!
Now I’ll show you some other ways that I’ve worn white pants that would be great for this time of year!
Look 2: Chic
This was one of my favorite looks from this winter. Mixed neutrals, a trusty camel coat and a cute beret, what more could ya ask for?
Look 3: Monochromatic
More neutrals, surprise surprise. I loved this look too though. There’s something sleek about a monochromatic look. I wore these wide leg ivory pants with a beige sweater, nude booties, and a taupe bag for a nice, creamy winter look.
Look 4: Parisian
I actually wore this look back in the early fall. I love an outfit that translates into more than one season. I got this fun but chic wrap sweater and felt like it deserved some French vibes… thus began my beret obsession. 😉
Look 5: Sassy
This was a fun little look, too. I love a good oversized, cozy sweater. Between the color and the sassy off-the-shoulder fit, this one is perfect for transitioning from winter to spring.
Look 6: Sophisticated
This is another one from early fall that works great in the spring time. Pretty textures are always a good way to elevate an outfit. Lace detailing is nice, delicate spring texture. I paired it with some fun strappy open toed sandals and a quilted cross body bag for a slightly sophisticated look.
So there ya have it, 6 ways you can wear white pants to transition into spring. I could have showed you several other ways I’ve worn white pants over the last 6 months but some of them were pretty clearly fall outfits and others were bundled up winter looks. Which of these 6 would you be most likely to wear as we go from winter to spring? 🙂 Hope you enjoyed todays post and, as always, thanks for reading!
