T-minus 2 days until Christmas people! Can you believe it?! I hope everyone’s gifts are wrapped, trees are trimmed and cookies are baked! I’m so excited! We’ve already begun celebrating. Yesterday we got to spend some time with Charlie’s side of the family and it was so nice to have everyone together! Today we’re sneaking in a quick photoshoot (the hustle never stops) and enjoying the rest of the day with my wonderful in-laws before heading to my parents’ tomorrow. And I guess I don’t have to tell you guys that tomorrow is Christmas Eve and so on and so forth. 😉
WHITE SWEATER DRESS (c/o LOFT) | WHITE PUMPS (c/o of Amazon), under $40 | RED TIGHTS | RED BERET (c/o Amazon), only $9 | WHITE CLUTCH (only $14) | EARRINGS (c/o Baublebar), on sale for $15 and avaialbe in 7 colors
As I mentioned, we’re t-minus 2 days away from Christmas and the only reason I have my Christmas outfit picked out already is because I had to pack it to bring to NC. 😛 So if you’re like me and a last minute outfit planner, I thought I would share a fun way you can spice up a white sweater dress for a last minute Christmas outfit!
My inspiration for this outfit was candy cane chic. 😛 I wanted to have some fun with this outfit so I decided to add in some bold reds to make the white sweater dress more festive. I wore a red beret, red tights, and a bright red lip to bring in the reds and then complimented the white sweater dress with white pumps and a white clutch. And of course a good sparkly earring always spices up a holiday look!
Now, I’m not so naive to think that everyone has a red beret and red tights lying around. 😛 So if that’s not an option for you, instead you could:
- wear a red scarf, red lips, and big sparkly earrings
- paint your nails bright red or a fun metallic
- wear nothing other than white for a chic winter wonderland look
- wear red shoes and red lips
- wear anything gold, silver, or sparkly – this could be tights, shoes, a purse… anything!
So, what do you guys think of this fun little look?! This was definitely out of my comfort zone but I had so much fun creating this look! I hope this helped you gain some inspiration if you’re in need of a last minute Christmas outfit! In short, go for reds, metallics, and/or sparkles and you’ll be all set! 😉 I’ll see you guys again later this week so I hope you all have a very merry Christmas! As always, thanks for stopping by sweet friends!
