Happy Thanksgiving sweet family and friends! I hope you’re all doing well on this lovely holiday and are able to spend some time with your loved ones. We have a house full of family here and it’s our first Thanksgiving in our new home. I couldn’t be feeling anymore thankful! I’m excited to spend the day cooking, eating, and then relaxing with everyone. Thanksgiving is such a great holiday because it’s truly meant for quality time and nothing more. I’m definitely missing the rest of our family back home, and I know that Charlie is too, but this is the first Thanksgiving in two years that we’ve even had a chance to celebrate (#retaillife) so I can’t complain! 🙂

I thought this was a fitting look for today because it can give you some last minute Thanksgiving inspiration if you’re a procrastinator like me but it’s also a great look to wear into early winter! I’d been on the hunt for a pair of plaid pants and finally found the perfect pair when I visited the new ZARA at the King of Prussia Mall a few weeks ago. If you haven’t been yet, you gotta check it out. 😉
These plaid pants are a really pretty chocolate brown color but I wanted to style them with some warmer tones for Thanksgiving so I paired it with my camel coat and a matching beret. I decided that the chic coat and beret made this a dressier look and I wanted to roll with that. So, I wore the same classic white turtleneck that I wore in Sunday’s post, which helped pull out the lighter tones in the plaid pants.
The plaid has black in it as well so, you guys know me and my love for black and brown, I pulled that out by wearing a pair of dressy black booties and a nice black bag. I accessorized with a sleek, gold, square faced watch and a simple necklace to give the outfit a little bit of shine without being overwhelming. I topped everything off with a rich brown lip to tie the chocolate brown of the pants in with the black and camel.
What did you guys think of this look? I think it’d be a nice, sophisticated outfit for Thanksgiving or you could save it for the office next week. You could also have fun with the plaid pants and dress them down. It’s always fun to take a dressy item and dress it down and vice versa. If I were to dress them down, I would wear them with a pair of white sneakers, a cropped sweatshirt, and a moto jacket! How would you dress them down?
Happy Thanksgiving once again, everyone! Thanks so much for taking time out of your holiday to stop by. Enjoy the rest of your turkey day!
